Test the setup.
Remote shows receive a test recording to verify equipment. For on-location shows, we survey proposed locations for production viability. The remote test is a technical check, not a regular published episode.

A few practical answers
Before we hit record.
What does “weekly” include?
Weekly means the calendar publishing schedule, including five episodes in months with five scheduled weekly release dates. The monthly production rate stays the same. A full five-episode batch allows up to 375 minutes of recording, excluding setup and pack-out.
How do shorts work?
Choose up to 2, 5, or 8 shorts per episode. Editing standards remain consistent. The strength and number of standalone moments depend on the conversation, so higher quantities can include more supporting insights alongside the strongest highlights. Shorts are handed off for you to publish unless social publishing is added.
What is included in Month 1?
Month 1 is onboarding and setup, with up to two consultation meetings, account connections, podcast outlet setup, thumbnail design, and a remote equipment test or an on-location site survey. Regular episode recording and publishing begin in Month 2. The selected full monthly production rate and $300 annual storage fee apply.
Is full branding included?
Simple branding treatment is included in setup. Full logo development, brand guidelines, and graphic design are additional services quoted separately.
Is YouTube Shorts publishing included?
Full-episode YouTube publishing is included. Publishing shorts to a YouTube profile, or to other social profiles, is an optional social publishing add-on.
Can I remove deliverables to lower the price?
You may decline individual included components, but removing them does not create a discount. Each plan is a complete production package.
How does on-location recording work?
Add $500 per production month for one on-location session. Location, service area, travel, and any additional crew needs are confirmed in your proposal. The session fee applies when the production session occurs; onboarding includes a site survey rather than regular episode recording.
Can I reschedule?
Rescheduling is possible with at least seven days’ notice. Shorter notice incurs a rescheduling fee. The applicable fee is specified in your agreement.
What does the $300 annual storage fee cover?
C47 purchases a drive or allocates storage for your production files. You are paying for C47-managed storage, not buying a drive or acquiring hardware ownership. The fee is billed in Month 1 and annually thereafter.
How long do you keep footage?
Footage is retained for up to 12 months from recording or up to 60 days after the contract ends, whichever comes first. This is a retention window, not a promise of permanent archiving.
How is social publishing priced?
Pricing is per connected profile: one profile is $99/month, two are $198/month, three are $255/month, and each profile beyond three adds $55/month. Two profiles on the same platform count separately. The same shorts are uploaded across selected profiles. Self-service monthly reporting through SocialPilot is included.
Will a podcast guarantee leads or sales?
No. A show can support visibility and relationships, but sales depend on audience, offer, distribution, follow-up, and other factors. We commit to the agreed production scope, not guaranteed revenue.
